Lweza FC have outlined their intentions in the Azam Premier League by signing experienced players, including a Nigerian.

Former Uganda Cranes winger Dan Wagaluka switched from Soana FC to Lweza for an undisclosed fee while Geoffrey Sserunkuma followed the same path from South Africa.

Lweza hope to make the most out of their latest introductions to move further up in the table.

Rafael Onoh from Nigeria also joins the club for a fee not revealed. Also, Arthur Semazi from Kenyan side Gor Mahia joins experienced goalkeeper Sowedi from Soana F.C.

After qualifying for top-flight football, the Lweza-based club later struggled with the highly inexperienced team despite assistant coach Robert Kafeero maintained that he had belief in the players.

Their struggles forced the team manager to inject in money to buy new players so they can meet their target of a top-five finish.
