Her latest collection was unveiled last Thursday at the Golden Vogue fashion show at the Pyramids Casino.

Also showcasing were Zein Bukenya and Tracy Borah.

Cindy’s collection was a trendy mixture of textures and feminine silhouettes. It conveyed a sweet sensibility with bright colours and ruffles, while metallic hues and short hems added edge to the collection.

The show opened with an electric blue halter neck dress with asymmetrical hemline, and there followed an array of full skirts and elaborate gowns, including a hot pink button-down dress with structured shoulders and a black belt at the waist.

Zein Bukenya’s collection was fun and flirty, serving up timeless cocktail and party dresses with sequins, large bows and quirky skirts. Every look was completed with sky-high heels from the House of Borah.

The night’s showstopper was a yellow satin body hugging gown designed by Kemigisha that was auctioned off for $250 (about sh650,000).

The evening was spread out into brief fashion segments with music breaks that saw artistes like Maurice Kirya and 4GB perform.

The biggest blight on the night was perhaps the MCs who lacked chemistry. Comedian Richard Tuwangye held his own, but Andrew Kyamagero of Touch FM failed to deliver in every sense of the word
