The Census results will matter to you, your children and your grandchildren. For Avery longtime Ugandans have been suffering mostly in provision of social services but this is going to be history after the census because now we are going to live in a country were leaders don not estimate what to give us just as the way it has been in the past.

But really know the number of people they are planning for.

Population - knowing how many people live in an area helps central government allocate funding - local government also uses this data to plan what is needed in their local areas through this all Ugandans get a chance of being planned for equally lets say in the hospital health and disability - health services and policies are planned around the census data so that the necessary services are provided where they are needed both in urban and rural areas and similarly  housing needs can be much better planned if we know what the demand is now and likely to be in the future.

Employment - by establishing how many people work in different occupations and industries, census information can be used to help plan jobs and training policies in country just like Uganda because wee having a good number of youth who are unemployed today so it will help the government really to plan and establish employment opportunities to the people through setting up of industries to different areas were need be and also providing education to the youth because census information can be used  to help plan for education resources, such as schools and teachers in various districts inform of providing pay to the teachers and also providing facilities to students inform of books most especially to the USE AND UPE schools which are fully funded by the government of Uganda.

The national census is also important in transport - identifying how and where people travel to work and study will help  the government understand the pressures on our transport systems and improve planning for roads and public transport most especially in construction of roads to various districts that need them. In conclusion I call upon all Ugandans to attend to the the people conducting the censu, give the correct information because it is for our own benefit that we should be counted for better planning of thr government
