LAGOS - A second attack by a female suicide bomber outside a shopping centre in Nigeria's Kano city injured six people on Monday after a similar blast killed three people at a petrol station, police said.
"It was the same modus operandi," Kano state police chief Aderele Shinaba told AFP, referring to the earlier attack targeting women buying kerosene.
"She was stopped at the gate of the shopping centre and blew herself up.... Six people were injured, including two officers."
