The Democratic Party (DP) President Norbert Mao's condition is now stable after receiving medication from experts in Nairobi Hospital, Kenya.

According to the party Secretary General Mathiaus Nsubuga, Mao was flown to Nairobi hospital last Friday to seek better medical attention after a malaria attack and severe chest pains.

“We had a rally in the north last week, after which the president developed malaria. He was rushed to Lacor hospital where the doctors advised us to take him to Kenya for specialized treatment,” Nsubuga said.

“His body failed to respond to medication as his condition worsened, prompting the family to fly him to Kenya for better medication” he added.

Nsubuga told journalists during the party’s weekly briefing that Mao is in a steady condition.

“His wife called us this morning, informing us that our dear president is safe now and responding to medication,” Nsubuga said.
