Sisters Tamara, Talia fall apart

OF anyone who has followed StarGame knows that the stay of Zambian sisters Talia and Tamara in the house has been one of discord and conflict all through.

The sisters have consistently shown themselves to be very different characters with different (almost always conflicting) interests and opinions.

Particularly Tamara has not approved of almost everything her sister has been fond of – including evicted Angolan housemate Seydou whom Talia struck with a sizzling romance.

Yet even with that background, the way the sisters bared their knuckles on each other live on continental television on Wednesday evening is still substantially alarming!

During their Wednesday Diary Room session, Tamara opened the can of worms complaining that she hasn’t had any one- one time with her sister in a long time, saying it was unfair.

Talia’s response was to tell her elder sister: “I have lived all my life in your shadow. I do what you want and go where you want me to go. It’s time for me be an individual and for the first time, I am able to do that.

We live with other people in the House and I will not be with you 24/7”. Tamara then barred her younger sister who wanted to storm out of the diary room from doing so, setting up an argument that lasted nearly thirty minutes – until BigBrother intervened to ask them both to go sort out their differences.

With the sisters avoiding each other afterwards, it looked like at least they wouldn’t be quarrelling any more but only giving each other silent treatment – until yesterday’s diary room session brought them together again.

The sisters yesterday began o where they had stopped, telling each other o about taking each other for granted, undermining each other as well as controlling each other.

Talia told her sister that she is too controlling and insecure because she (Talia) is making friends in the House, while Tamara swore at Talia for exposing her like that and demanded an explanation.

The sisters yesterday continued their argument beyond the diary room, telling each other o in full view of their Housemates until Biggie called one away.

Tamara has since said she doesn’t want a coin of Talia’s money if she wins the jackpot, saying Talia is being very materialistic.
