Boda-boda riders in Kampala have gone on strike demanding that the President addresses their grievances.

BODA- BODA cyclists operating in capital Kampala have gone on strike demanding that the President addresses their grievances in the State on Nation address to be delivered in the afternoon.
The rowdy riders have paralyzed traffic on some major junctions in city including yard along Jinja Road, Queens’ way and Pride Theatre junctions.
Their grievances include hiked monthly dues paid to the City authority (KCCA), acquisition of ridding helmets, reflector jackets and a permit among others. More details to follow
