Green pepper
The price of green pepper in most markets eased last week.

In Kibuye, Kalerwe and Owino markets, about three medium-size green peppers which previously cost sh2,000 dropped to sh500.

In Nakasero Market a kilogram that previously cost sh7,000 fell to sh4,000.

Sweet potatoes
The supply of sweet potatoes has gone down and as a result, the price of 100kg-bag that went for sh80,000 now costs sh150,000.

In Kibuye, Owino and Nakawa markets, by the weekend seven medium size potatoes cost sh2,000.

The only time you could get them cheap is when the trader offers a stock clearance discount, or very early in the morning. You could get about seven medium size sweet potatoes selling at sh1,000 instead of sh2,000.
