ARTHUR Ziraba kept Wanderers on course as his side won their two games, to make it four wins in four encounters of the national T-20 cricket league.

With Ali Raza making 68, Ziraba and Abdullah Lubega added 38 runs each as Wanderers set SVPC a target of 189 runs to chase in the 20 allocated overs at Lugogo oval in the morning.

With Farouk Ochimi (2 wickets for 14 runs) and Nehal Bibodi (2/16) attacking to defend, all that SVPC would manage was 99/7 in 20 overs, thanks to Hilal Patel’s 41 runs. Wanderers won by 90 runs.

Ziraba came back in the afternoon and smashed 93 runs as Wanderers set Tornado B a target of 170 runs to chase in the 20 overs.

Jeremy Kibuuka Musoke (58) and Fred Isabirye (22) tried to chase but lost gas at 129/8 as Tornado picked their second win of the day, and fourth in the league.

Warriors were also double winners, beating Mwiri by five wickets in the morning and SVPC by 3 wickets, having defended their 94 runs and 95 runs that they had respectively set for their opponents.
