Vision Group has taken over Arua One, a West Nile based radio station, adding yet another platform to its stable of media outlets.

The purchase agreement for the Arua-based radio was signed on Friday at the Vision Group head offices on First Street Industrial Area, Kampala. The chief executive officer, Robert Kabushenga, signed on behalf of Group while Nusura Tiperu,

After signing the agreement, Kabushenga said the take-over marks the beginning of a transformation of the radio industry in the region with emphasis on quality that will provide the area with an opportunity to interact.

It will also be innovative and offer its audiences with a platform to air their views and voices, Kabushenga added. “We are excited to enter one of the most dynamic media markets,” he noted. Vision Group chief of operations Gervase Ndyanabo and legal officer Doreen Pachuto were also present.
