RUGBY Cranes veteran flanker Robert Seguya is such workhorse and Kobs should be wary of the fighting spirit he has instilled in the largely teenage Buffaloes team in the Nile Special Premier Rugby League at Kampala Club on Friday.

That Mongers lost to Seguya’s Buffaloes while Pirates and Heathens narrowly escaped but without bonus points, Kobs should not expect the usual routine win from the Kyandondo side.

Coming off a painful 16-18 defeat to Heathens in the Kyadondo derby last Saturday Buffaloes are itching to claim a major win in the eight-team league.

“In the last 10 minutes Heathens were crawling and praying for the game to end while we wanted the match to continue. The boys are the fittest in the league, are hungry for success and now have self-belief which was previously lacking. We want Kobs to fall at their home,” Seguya remarked.

Seguya warned that they would attack their opponents for the entire 80 minutes.

“Without me the boys’ average age is 20 and should Kobs try to play a physical game they will they run into a rock. Those who have watched our training drills know how solid we are,” Seguya boasted.

Seguya looks to his much younger teammates Phillip Wokorach, Liam Walker, Eric Kasiita and captain Edgar Odyek among others in their upset bid.

Kobs coach Fred Mudoola whose side pulled off convincing victories over Nile, Impis and Rhinos, does not take Buffaloes lightly either.

“It’s good to have another strong team in the league. We always put up our best show regardless of the kind opponents. I will field the best available team and hopefully continue winning,” Mudoola said.
