My lover introduced me as his sister

Dear Counsellor,

I started dating this man in 2007. We used to attend the same church at Makerere University. We even used to stay together because his and my parents thought we would get married. I trusted him so much until March, 2011, when he introduced a certain woman to me as his sister.

We used to visit her at home. She also used to pray from our church. One day, Peace (not real name) told me that my boyfriend was having an affair with his cousin, Carol (not real name). Peace would forward messages from my boyfriend’s phone, purportedly sent by Carol.

When I confronted my boyfriend about the issue, he dismissed them as mere rumours. I later told Carol to back off my boyfriend, However, I came to find out that it was actually Peace who had been sleeping with my boyfriend.

I always used to tell Peace everything about my boyfriend; how I loved him so much and intended to get married to him. That time I was pregnant, but to my shock, my boyfriend told me to abort the child because his father, a canon, would chase him away from home. Secondly, I do not understand the language my boyfriend and Peace speak because he is from Ntungamo, while she is from Kabale. I come from Gulu. Please advise me.
