The Inspector General of Police, Maj Gen Kale Kayihura should know that another case of Muguluma, another little boy who was killed in the same way as Joseph Kasirye is being handled in a similar manner. The suspect pleaded guilty but instead of sentencing him he was advised to reconsider his plea. Today, the suspect has changed his statement and has been allowed to hire a lawyer. He will most likely get away with the crime he had earlier admitted. Is that fair? Poor children of Africa!

The judgement in the case of Kato Kajubi is disappointing. Most people had expected to see him sent to the gallows but the prosecution did not do its homework and that left the judge with no option but to acquit him!
