KAMPALA –– Lincoln International School has come up with yet another first in the world of fairy tales in Uganda.

In a play, which combines song, dance and comedy, the students retell the fairy tales in a new and interesting way. The musical presentation was held at the National Theatre from March 4 to March 6.

Part of the money raised during the presentation will go to two charity organisations Hospice Uganda and Candlelight Foundation.

In Act I, there was a wide range of fairy tale characters. The annual fairy tale convention opens in a mystical fairy-tale land. The fairy tale characters meet to discuss their lives and tales.

The props and costumes inspire the imagination.

They accurately paint the stage with different scenes from renowned fairy tales. In the second Act, the fairy tale characters experience first hand what it is like to be in another tale.
