A TEAM of about 70 surgeons will next month travel to Luweero to conduct a surgical camp, which they have dubbed the Luweero/Nakasongola surgical camp.

The camp will run from June 8 to 14. The camp will give free surgical treatment to patients that the district will have identified with various needs.

Dr. Jane Fualal, president of the Association of Surgeons of Uganda (ASOU), says that the camp will involve three hospitals, four health centre IVs and one health centre III.

The three hospitals are Kiwoko, Nakaseke and Bombo. The health centre IVs are Ngoma, Kasana, Kalagala and Nakasongola. Wabusaana is the only health centre III that will benefit.
