BUSIA — A senior mobiliser in the RDC’s office, Obande Okumu, has ordered people who move animals to get LCI authorisation letters. He said all the mentally disturbed will be rounded up and taken to Butabika Hospital for medical examination. He was speaking in Lunyo sub-county on security issues, recently.

KUMI — The coordinator Kumi Network of Organisation, Rogers Omoding, has advised civil society organisations to concentrate on national development, rather than opposing the state. He was speaking at the organisation’s annual general meeting at the PAG hall recently.

KUMI — The Programme Adviser for Soroti Private Sector Foundation, Mary Tinuoye, has said developing food processing factories would be a solution to poverty. She was presenting a paper on poverty eradication through food processing and marketing at Kumi Teachers’ Centre recently.
