SIR— It’s awkward for Dr Kizza Besigye to decide for Ugandans on what to do on Independence Day.
SIR— It’s awkward for Dr Kizza Besigye to decide for Ugandans on what to do on Independence Day.
He says we are not supposed to celebrate the 41st year of independence because of the war in northern and eastern Uganda. I want to put it to him that his mentality is wrong. We have every reason to celebrate the departure of colonial rule from Uganda. Besides, President Museveni is trying his best to stop the war in northern Uganda.
