KCC and Express will unveil their new players on Sunday when they lock horns again in a tournament/concert dubbed Mwebale Kutuwagira (Thanks for your support) at Nakivubo Stadium.

According to promoter Moses Kavuma, Sunday will be a day of entertainment for both lovers of music and football.

“It will be full of entertainment with live music provided by the popular Jose Chameleon who has just scooped the Pearl of Africa music award, the star-studded Eagles and Diamond Production bands.

“We shall be thanking our fans who have supported us (artists and footballers) for this long. As a result we have reduced the charges from sh5,000 to sh3,000,” Kavuma added.

Express, who suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of resurgent KCC during the Independence Cup, will line up its recruits Godfrey Ssali from URA, Robert Kabanda (Simba) and lanky striker Zacharia Lubega from Top TV.

KCC will also use the occasion to test some of the excellent buys they made during the frenzy of transfers like defender Sam Mubiru, Tony Mawejje ( Masaka), striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma (Police), young talented goalkeeper from Friends of Football, Paul Musoke and midfielder Abdalla Maro from Iganga Town Council.

Kavuma said gates will be thrown open at midday while the match kicks off at 4.00pm.

Food and drinks will be served in the stadium.
