A REVELLER at Rock Gardens café, on Speke Road, openly sobbed when he discovered the wheel caps of his Mercedes Benz missing.

The incident happened last Saturday at around 4:00 am and the youth who was hardly 20, was walking arm in arm with a woman.

When he noticed that all the four wheel caps of his car were missing, he disengaged from his girlfriend’s grip, rushed to a nearby security guard demanding to know who had taken them.

“You guys are thieves. You have stolen my f*****g wheel caps. Do you know how much they cost? You are going to pay!” he threatened the security men, attracting a crowd.

Seeing no result, the young man, a son of a top UPDF officer sobered up and started pleading with the guards. He said the car was actually not his but his father’s who would flay him when he discovered the loss. He then started wailing.

Attempts by his girlfriend to get him moving were futile as he swore he couldn’t dare get home without the wheel caps. After about 10 minutes he remembered. He opened the boot of the vehicle and found all the four wheel caps intact and heaved a sigh of relief. He apparently had removed them himself before entering the bar.
