EDITOR—I wish to commend Umeme for their efforts to improve their invoices for power supply.

However, I suggest that on their new invoices they should indicate payments received as itemised payments and not as lump- sum figures.
Lump-sum figures make it difficult for consumers to cross-check their own payment records.
