- Tororo Progressive Academy TOPA has sneaked into the fray for the East Africa school games due in Fort Portal this month. TOPA, that finished fourth in the COPA Coca-Cola Cup, grabbed the opportunity after Jinja Parents Academy was banned for escaping camp at St. Leo’s College Kyegobe at night contrary to regulations. TOPA edged out four-time former champions St. Mary’s Kitende 6-5 in the COPA Coca-Cola semi-finals.

Realstar take Naluwerere bull
- Realstar fc beat kamonkya fc 4-2 on spot-kicks to emerge winners of the Dudu-Mpalanyi bull tournament final on Saturday at Naluwerere ground, Bugiri.

Leaders told to take cue
- Eastern region football association boss Sam Lwere has advised chairpersons and secretaries of the 25 districts that attended the just concluded administrative course in Jinja to immediately put in force what they learnt from the course. He said poor administration has killed soccer in the region and that it needs immediate revamping.
