I have learnt with dismay that it is impossible for an individual to succeed in education or career without suffering! It is true that failure teaches success and the right to fail is as important as the right to succeed!
I have learnt with dismay that it is impossible for an individual to succeed in education or career without suffering! It is true that failure teaches success and the right to fail is as important as the right to succeed!
I have never seen a successful person whose success did not experience bouts of failures. Take, for instance, presidents in many countries, professors, ministers who go through failure.Â
One day a student asked me if I could show him the secret to success after they failed their UNEB examinations several times.
I told him that the secret lies within him. Whatever you need in life, you need to remain focused, have a vision and determination.
Since then he has never returned to me. I am not sure if he took my advice seriously or ignored it.
As the new term begins, I would like to remind students in candidate classes that successful people are dreamers, honest and God-fearing.
