KOTIDO-A transporter, who escaped arrest after his truck was found carrying local gin containing live ammunition has been rearrested. Hassan Hussein Ocen of Lira was netted on Thursday with 300 litres of waragi on a vehicle destined for Kotido. The north-eastern regional Police spokesman, George Obia, confirmed the arrest. Last month, Police impounded jericans of waragi that contained bullets.

Govt to expand ICT in schools
LIRA-Computer laboratories will be built in 60 schools to promote information and communication technology (ICT), Aggrey Awori, the ICT minister, has said. This was during the launch of a computer laboratory at Dr. Obote College, Boroboro, one of the schools that benefited from the first phase.
