Parents need to educate their children to ensure responsible citizens in future, the prime minister of the Buganda Kingdom, Eng JB Walusimbi has said.

“We should be committed to pay fees so that our children can go to school, study and be responsible people in future,” Walusimbi said.

This was in a speech read by the Kyadondo county chief Tofiri MalOkweza during the 10th Anniversary celebrations of Aidan college at Ndejje recently.

Walusimbi also said parents and teachers had a role of instil morals in their children. He asserted that the kingdom was committed to the education of young people.

“You should not only depend on academics. Outside class activities are also good for you,” Walusimbi said. During the function, students showcased different traditional dances and plays.
