SUPER Division Clubs Association has asked FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa to stop interfering in club matters.

In a two page letter dated May 7, SDCA secretary Kavuma Kabenge described Mulindwa as insensitive to "financial predicament" of clubs and KCC in particular.

SDCA was responding to FUFA’s recent comments against KCC officials following players’ threat to boycott a trip for the CAF champions League tie against El Merreikh of Sudan. KCC were ejected 2-1 on aggregate.

Both the president and his publicist Rogers Mulindwa blamed KCC officials for delaying players salary payments.

Kabenge, who is also a member of Uganda Super League Committee under FUFA argues that the national football governing body has no mandate to comment on club affairs.

“Your involvement in KCC camp, its players and finances is overstepping your mandate and their resulting destruction can be attributed to you," Kabenge said.
"We request you for an immediate apology to KCC,”

SDCA is an umbrella of clubs that compete in the Super League.
KCC chairman Godfrey Kisekka is chairman of SDCA.
