City tycoon Sudhir to receive honorary PhD

CITY tycoon and businessman, Sudhir Ruparelia, is to receive a Honorary Doctorate of Laws in Business from the Uganda Pentecostal University, writes Patrick Jaramogi.

“The university council decided that for investing in the country and boosting the economy, Sudhir Ruparelia should be honoured,” the vice-chancellor, Prof. John Ntambirweki, said.

The academic registrar, Prof. Samson Opolot, said: “We shall honour him during our second graduation on October 26.”
He has invested in sectors like real state, hotel, banking, flowers and education.
Sudhir said: “It is great to be honoured.”
