THE National University Sports Federation of Uganda has entered a three-year contract with telecommunications company MTN.
The contract will kick off with a sh150m sponsorship to the annual varsity games that kick off Sunday at Makerere University.
The total package will be announced later.
The games have attracted 1,625 athletes from 14 universities. 16 universities had confirmed participation but two pulled out after Uganda Christian University in Mukono declined hosting the games at the last minute.
