Amarula in trouble over Bugembe cash
SOMEONE said money is the source of all evil. This could be true with Amarula Family. We reported early this year that Pastor Wilson Bugembe had rejected offers from Balamu Baruhagare and Bokins Kibirige to run his Kani album launch.
SOMEONE said money is the source of all evil. This could be true with Amarula Family. We reported early this year that Pastor Wilson Bugembe had rejected offers from Balamu Baruhagare and Bokins Kibirige to run his Kani album launch.
He instead gave it to Amarula Family’s Paddy Bitama free-of-charge. Well, apparently, Bitama, who attends Bugembe’s church in Nansana, Wakiso district brought partners; Eddie Kigere and Messe a.k.a Nicholas Mpeirwe, but excluded Amooti Omubalanguzi, their leader.
They borrowed money from money lenders in town tao organise the event. Amooti did not attend the launch. But he reportedly scolded his colleagues, publicly telling them they could easily have failed to repay the money and bring the group to disrepute.
