It will include concerts, mix parties and in-bar consumer activations across the country.
Julianna Kagwa, the Uganda Waragi brand manager, told reporters at Club Sway in Kampala recently that the music concept was a winning formulae that would bring the celebrities closer to the fans, a mixture of local music from the three states and enhanced shared moments.
â€œUganda Waragi is a spirit that binds East Africans and we know that as a people there are more things that we share that bring us together than there are those that separate us,â€ Kagwa said.
She said through the event, â€œwe have identified music and celebrities as another avenue where we engage and interact.
â€œThis is clearly seen in how popular Kenyan and Tanzanian musicians are in Uganda.â€
