A far cry from the cut-rate Nissan pick-up he drove back in the day, Kampala Mayor Nasser Sebaggala is certainly living lavishly these days, judging by the vehicles we saw at his Bugolobi home.
Excluding a relative’s top of the range G-class (cross-country Benz) and the Hummer registration number SEYA, which was conspicuously absent, the three machines we discovered are worth a fortune.
His 2007/8 Pajero GLS (high spec) with the number plate “mayor†costs $70,000 at Victoria Motors where it was purchased. The Mercedes Benz CLK is also a force to reckon with just as is the huge Toyota Hilux “caterpillar†pick-up truck, which he rarely cruises. All three were estimated at over sh200m. If you include the Hummer, the figure goes over sh350m.
