Businessman wins sh500,000 in Cashlines

A 30-year-old businessman has won sh500,000 in <i>The New Vision</i>’s Cashlines game. Peter Mukuye, the operations manager of Ibis Breeze, a city-based company, was the second winner, bringing the amount won to sh600,000.

A 30-year-old businessman has won sh500,000 in The New Vision’s Cashlines game. Peter Mukuye, the operations manager of Ibis Breeze, a city-based company, was the second winner, bringing the amount won to sh600,000.

He received the money from the field sales manager, Gershom Agaba, at the company headquarters in Kampala yesterday.

“I did not expect to be among the first winners. I am very happy,” Mukuye said.
He added that he would use the cash to boost his business of air conditioners and electrical appliances.

Mukuye, who got three game cards, vowed to continue playing the game in which sh20m will be won by the readers of the newspaper.

“I was unlucky last year but this time my efforts have been rewarded. The company should come up with more promotions,” he said, adding that he enjoys sports stories.

A total of sh19.4m is still up for grabs, the sales and promotions executive, Rhona Kanabahita, said.

To play the game, find your free game card at The New Vision offices, vendors and agents countrywide.

Once you a get the card, proceed to page two of the newspaper where a list of winning numbers will be.

Encircle all the numbers on a horizontal line that correspond with those on the list.

One wins once all the numbers on a horizontal line have been encircled.
An extra token and all numbers for a given week will be published every Sunday.

Game cards with 28 tokens will be eligible for the grand draw, which will be held on June 10 in Kampala.
