THE Parliamentary football team will take on Uganda Joint Christian Council (UJCC) team in a friendly at Nakivubo today.

The match is intended to mark the 45th anniversary of UJCC.

Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala is expected to be chief guest.

“The match has been confirmed and you should expect a thriller,” said Parliamentary team secretary Kassim Nsimbe.

MP for Aruu County Odongo Otto is captain of the team with former Cranes player Tom Lwanga as head coach.

In another development, the Parliamentary team lost to their counterparts of the United Kingdom 1-0 in a game played in London recently.

The game is part of a long process geared at strengthening the relationship between parliamentarians in the two countries.
