Last weekend, however, Pearl of Africa Music Awards organising committee chairman Isaac Mulindwa, led an entourage of high society friends to the home of his fiancée Hamida Kibirige’s parents in Kansanga for a kwanjula (introduction ceremony).
Mulindwa and Hamida have two daughters aged one and three and have been dating for years. Hamida, an IT engineer, led the team that installed the CCTV security cameras before CHOGM last year. Mulindwa, who was escorted by Prince Wassajja, former Kampala mayor
Ssebaana Kizito and CBS FM head honcho Kaya Kavuma among others, hired an events management company to pack and deliver the gifts to his in-laws.
