Joel Olweny continued his rich run of form with an unbeaten 72 that put Tornado in the final to defend their Mawanda Cup title. Tornado will face Tornado B in the final at Lugogo on Sunday, a repeat of the 2006 finals.

Coke flies 3 to Euro semis
- Coca Cola is sponsoring three of its customers to the Euro 2008 semi-final between Spain and Russia on Thursday. While handing over the tickets to the privileged customers at Serena Hotel Kampala, Coke country manager Steve Okeyo said that Ponsiano Ngabirano, Patel Rajankant and John Maurice Bagambe were being rewarded for their loyalty to Coca Cola. He said: "We are thanking them for their support over the years."

Singh first on road in Safari
- Two-time African champion Muna Singh of Zambia looks set to leave the ramp first in the June 27-29 KCB Safari Rally. He will lead a pack of 53 drivers of whom 41 are locals from Kenyatta International Conference Centre on June 27. According to FIA Africa regional representative Surinder Thatthi, Muna and veteran Japanese Hideaki Miyoshi will hit the road first.
