You have successfully sat your A’ Level final exams. What if you do not get government sponsorship to university or your parents do not have the money to sponsor you at university and the other institutions of learning do not suit your dreams what do you do?

Do not despair. You can find alternative sponsorship. Ben, a second-year Law student at the University of Cairo, secured a scholarship three months before his colleagues who were banking on government scholarships.

He started searching for university sponsorship on the Internet even before writing his final exams. He knew of the opportunities offered by the Egyptian Embassy. So when he got his results, he delivered them to the embassy.

While he did not get government sponsorship, he got one of the University of Cairo. Look out for scholarships locally and internationally. You can try out www.fastweb.com. You can also log onto websites of learning institutions and find out about scholarships.
