Women love men who are admired by many of their colleagues

A new study has just confirmed what I suggested some time back. Women tend to fall for men that other women find attractive. This means that Irene Namatovu was just jiving when she sang <i>Love Eyokuvuganya Ngitya</i> (I fear competing for love).

A new study has just confirmed what I suggested some time back. Women tend to fall for men that other women find attractive.
This means that Irene Namatovu was just jiving when she sang Love Eyokuvuganya Ngitya (I fear competing for love). Because when a girl’s colleagues discuss a guy positively, with indications that they would consider building for him a freedom fighters’ monument, her propensity to fall in love with him increases.
Therefore, men who are attractive to many women are more likely to attract another woman simply because she sees others attracted to him.
Ben Jones of the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, and colleagues, showed 28 men and 28 women pairs of male faces and asked them to rate their attractiveness. The photos were again brought back, this time with an angle that showed other female admirers looking at them. Women graded highly the men in the photos which showed more other women smiling approvingly at them. But men who apparently elicited no such smiling approval were pronounced less attractive.
Researchers called this mate choice copying. If it is difficult to choose the best mating material, it makes sense to go with what works for the other girls, researchers said.
Those who read with a strategic mind should already see the mother of all tactics. If you want a certain girl, say at the hostel, and you doubt your capacity to make her release your PRA prisoners, plan your offensive with this research in mind. Befriend her roommates, friends or course mates and impress them to the point of talking about you.
If you cannot do this naturally, ‘bribe’ two of them to keep talking positively about you in the presence of their friend. This effectively fills up potholes on the way to her heart. By the time you approach her, you will find waving crowds waiting to receive you.
