THE life of 57-year-old William Chemnoin depends on donations which are expected to help him raise $ 22,000 (over sh38.5m) for a Kidney operation in Kenya in May.

The father of 12 was diagnosed with chronic renal failure at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, where he has been hospitalised since January, after he became blind last year.

According to a medical report, Chemnoin requires an urgent Kidney transplant to be conducted before May to avoid further complications.

In an interview with The New Vision, Chemnoin said he has been surviving on the weekly Renal Dialysis at a Kenyan hospital in Eldoret.

“I lost my job and I am currently unemployed. I cannot raise all the money on my own and appeal to the public for assistance,” he requested.

Chemnoin added that he has severe pains after his right shoulder was cut to enable doctors to clear out the clotted blood inside his system.

Donations can be made to account number 0121046022002 at Stanbic Bank, Kapchorwa branch.
