CRICKET chairman William Kibuuka Musoke came into office swearing his association can do without the press.

Two months later, after a lot of criticism for his negative attitude to the media, he has had to tone down and will today host his first press conference.

Musoke has obviously been in the news for all the wrong reasons, after he attempted to forcefully stop a photographer taking his picture at Lugogo.

The Uganda Cricket Association secretary Bashir Ansasira said that on the agenda will be an update on the national team currently preparing for the Australia tour next month.

Uganda is preparing to take part in the International Cricket Council Division Three World Cricket league slated for May 27 – June 2 in Australia.

Tanzania, USA, PNG, Oman Republic, Malaysia, Cayman Island and Fiji will take part in the one-week event.
