Zikusoka’s no nonsense approach

HEIGHT can be a problem, as Moses Zikusoka’s QG Saatchi and Saatchi MD found out at a cocktail hosted by the Indian Association. To get himself heard and to be seen, Zikusoka stood on a chair and began to bellow out his vision for the Commonwealth Heads of Governments Meeting in November.

When he realised that nobody was paying attention, a visibly irked Zikusoka told guests, (who included third deputy Prime minister Ali Kirunda Kivejinja, state minister for trade Wambuzi Gagawala and Local Government state minister Hope Mwesigye) that “either you listen to me or I walk away.”

He repeated the statement more than once. When guests realised he was serious, they shut their mouths like school children who have just been scolded by the headteacher and listened intently to what he had to say. Way to go Moses!
