It took the combined efforts of Alice Alaso, the Soroti Woman MP and defence state minister Ruth Nankabirwa, who threatened to call in the army, to dissuade Lt. Alupo from a physical confrontation with Apuun. Lt. Alupo had apparently turned a deaf ear to pleas from the two MPs to cool down, assuring Apuun that she was a fighter and that he should never provoke her again! Oh boy!
