MP Kyanjo has a point on Buganda

EDITOR—I would like to join those who have voiced the concerns for an independent Buganda. When the colonialists came to Uganda, it is the Baganda who collaborated with them. Other regions chose to resist the whiteman’s rule.

It is no wonder that the Britons chose to put up their adminsitrative offices in Kampala, Buganda. Ever since they left, the situation has changed as a lot of Buganda property has been grabbed and Buganda land is not safe.

So when MP Hussein Kyanjo advocates Buganda sovereignty, I think he has a point. He has aright to air his views like others who have said Kampala is not in Buganda and have walked free.
