PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has said LRA chief Joseph Kony and his group are in Gondokoro in northern Juba and are no longer a security threat.
He assured the people of Teso and Lango sub-regions that the army would mop up Kony remnants led by Okuti in Pader and Achellam in Lapul. He encouraged the people to return to their villages.
“The country is moving towards total peace and nobody, even the karimojong cattle rustlers, would be allowed to disturb people,” he told the annual students seminar in Ngetta National Teachers’ College in Lira. Over 500 student leaders of post-primary, tertiary and universities in Uganda attended the seminar.
