Believe it or not, Christian denominations are competing for followers

Believe it or not, Christian denominations are competing for followers.

But some churches have gone even a step higher to tighten their grip on their followers and also keep them united.

Kampala’s Christ the King Church held its monthly tea party at Cardinal Wamala Hall on Sunday.

Msgr. Paul Ssemwogerere said the tea party, which was sponsored by the Christians and friends of the parish, was meant to give the parishioners the opportunity to interact and know each other better.

They were served milk, tea, coffee, sliced bread with butter and chapatti. Christ the King’s tea party proved to be an effective tool of consolidating Christianity.
