SIR — I appreciate the effort being made in initiating the MPs. A week for induction has been organised for MPs at Hotel Africana.

This seminar will be addressed by local and international resource persons including judges, academics, politicians and human rights activists. This is a positive gesture.
It is hoped that what will be learnt will eventually be to the benefit of the constituents. There should also be ways of assessing the performance of the MPS.
