KIU administration gave the team sh10m, while utl offered tracksuits, T-shirts and caps for the event for Africa universties.

ATHLETICS - KAMPALA international University star Justine Bayiga clocked 24.2second over 200m in the Kenya National championships as a guest runner. Bayiga also made a 12.1 (100m) and 54.8 (400m) as she prepared for the Africa University Games. Makerere’s Gamba clocked 25.5 (200m) and finished fourth.
