ABOUT 350 students from Shimoni primary teachers’ college have settled at Nnyondo co-primary teachers college where they were transferred this term.
The Principal, Juliet Masereka and guild president Hillary Muhumuza said on Friday Nyondo, in Mbale, had better conditions than Shimoni.
“There is a good environment for reading in the lecture rooms and in the compound,†Muhumuza said.
He said close to 350 students out of 450 had reported by Wednesday.
They are to share the infrastructure with 450 students of Nnyondo.
Shimoni land was given to an investor to build a five-star hotel.
