Express dethroned Simba when they lifted the Idd Cup at Nakivubo stadium yesterday.
Express, who had a very good game, failed to find the net in normal time and lost a lot of chances in the first half.
Simba took charge in the second half but their leading striker Mathias kaweesa let them down, missing three clear chances.
Express continued pressing upwards and came close to scoring five minutes to time but striker David Obua could not combine well with Tony Odur to kill off the game.
Obua later on missed a penalty when he stylishly failed to use his right hand leg perfectly.
Simba missed the first two penalties through Kaweesa and Umar Matovu.
Tony Odur scored the winning penalty after Godfrey Ssentongo missed for Army side preparing for the East Africa Military Games at Namboole Stadium.
Express captain Wasswa Bbosa later received the trophy.
