FRANK Nsubuga’s 51 off 37 balls was not enough to spur Uganda, who fell 12 runs short of their target in the first of two one-day friendlies against Namibia yesterday.

FRANK Nsubuga’s 51 off 37 balls was not enough to spur Uganda, who fell 12 runs short of their target in the first of two one-day friendlies against Namibia yesterday.
Opener Stephen Swanepoel hit 35 at will as Namibia raced to 54 runs in the first 10 overs. Sarel Burger added an unbeaten 57.
Uganda’s top order is still out of sorts, leaving it to Joel Olweny (33), Nsubuga and Kamyuka (37) to grind some runs.
