THE Government is imposing dictatorial policies on church and Muslim-founded schools, Samuel Kefa Kamya, the Bishop of West Buganda Diocese, has said.

Dismus Buregyeya
reports that Kamya was addressing a workshop for West Buganda and Masaka Diocese at Bwala Social centre on Thursday. He said religious bodies should be given power to hire staff.

Kefa said the Government should not regard the support given to church-founded schools as a favour.

He said the Government should let religious institutions mould the children into God-fearing, morally up right and resourceful people.
