The Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF) has allocated sh7b to Pader district to fund community income-generating and development projects, Woman MP Santa Okot has said.
She said the money was meant to improve the living conditions of the residents through increased household income.
Okot was last week addressing residents of Lapono sub-county in Agago county during the Women’s Day celebration.
She appealed to local leaders to mobilise and sensitise the population on how to use the money.
The district chairman, Edwin Yakobo komakech, attended the celebrations.
